Penny works as an enameller using traditional techniques mainly with transparent enamels on silver to create jewellery, small objects and whistles. Having spent many years studying a wide range of crafts, she finds that the great range of colour and the tactile qualities, not to mention the technical challenges, make enamelling the most stimulating and exciting of all mediums.
