Designer Information...
I started silversmithing after a long illness and fell in love with it straight away. I am inspired by sea themes and translate what I see into forms for my jewellery. I love to texture the surface of the metal, rolling designs in to the surface by hammering and reticulation (heating the surface until the metal flows). I make handmade chains for a lot of my work so that the whole piece is individually made. I look at the world around me for inspiration and change what I see like an abstract artist.
