I am a contemporary British jewellery maker/designer and have been designing and making contemporary jewellery for 15 years.  I make my handmade contemporary jewellery using sterling silver, semi precious stones and 18ct gold.

I love anything with a history.  I am strongly influenced by ancient jewellery, Roman, Anglo-Saxon, loving the organic texture and simple designs that were often fabricated using just the simplest of tools.

Having been partly self-taught I also create my pieces using the most basic tools and techniques, preferring to work in this way.  All my pieces are made from Sterling silver and 18ct gold and I use only the best quality semi -precious and precious stones. I use a technique called 'oxidation' on a lot of my pieces (a chemical process that blackens the metal to give an 'aged 'look).
