Frances was born in London in 1967. She attended Wimbledon School of Art, before taking a degree course in Fine Art, Painting at St Martin’s School of Art. After a period of travelling in Africa, Frances returned to the UK and began painting but unfortunately large sales eluded her.  She then turn her attention to making jewellery, showing her first collection in Covent Garden in London, all of which, including the box was stolen!  Taking this as an encouraging sign Frances made a new collection which attracted the attention of sculptor Stephne Park.  He spotted the potential in her ‘bobble-ring’, and they began to work together. The bobble ring evolved into the Crown ring, which has been sold in the Tower of London. They worked for several years for the Japanese company ‘Sazaby’, exporting hundreds of rings, and having to maintain a very high standard.  Frances now works at a very slow pace, only making things that she really likes. She now lives in Devon with her husband and three children. Frances still paints paints and makes jewellery in the rare moments she has to herself.  Here we show some examples of what may be commissioned from her.
